I must confess, I chose this video because it was short and because I LOVE THE MUPPETS! However, since I have replayed the video twenty times, it partially makes up for me trying to be a slacker on time. My only wish is that they had Sesame Street for adults. Actually, I should rethink what I just said and remember that the smile elicited from watching this video and the simple reminder of the lesson is ageless. Snippets of Sesame Street should take the place of negative social media posts!

I am not certain at what age “The Power of Yet” seems to diminish. I have, often, during my college career lost the fond belief reflected in this video that you should “try again,” “keep trying,” “second chances”, and the spirit of “all in good time.” It is refreshing to not only reminisce about the innocence of childhood, but to seek lessons that are still fit for use for me in my burgeoning adulthood.

Indeed, I can and should continue to try, I can and should continue to improve, I can and should not let a mountain be too high, I can and I should…that is the power of yet! Plus, I so love the Cookie Monster!!!
